It was a sunny day and we just have to go out and catch up on old memories.
Josephine and I met up with our ex colleague at her new "Memory Lane" opened at Leisure Mall. It was all laughs and gists.
We chatted away during lunch while enjoying iced lemon tea, iced coffee, toasted bread, mushroom soup etc at Old Town Coffee house.

Diwali or Deepavali???!!!

Anyhow, it has the same purpose and system for Hindus all over the world. It's a celebration of good conquering the evil. A time for families and friends' to gather,pray and celebrated this Festival Of Lights.
As for me, i was lazying around the house and visiting my parents and friends in the evening.
My husband and i spent time watching tv,browsing,went out for lunch and strolling. Later, went to my parents place for muruku and tea. Then, towards 7pm, visited my friend's place,had dinner and drove back home. My son visited his friends' during the day and brought back some 'angpow' money and fire crackers.

well, we give thanks to God for another peaceful day this year.

Orchard House

I was wondering why I was so attracted to this music by Thomas Newman in Orchard House. It adds up after a brief research, it belongs to my one and only Louisa May Alcott's story on 'Little Women'.
Its a brilliant story and the music blends well and I am automatically attracted to the soothing sound.
